Dr Nisha Thiagarajah

Dr Nisha Thiagarajah is a haematologist who obtained her medical degree at the University of Newcastle, UK and completed her specialist FRACP and FRCPA training at major tertiary hospitals in Brisbane and Sydney, Australia. Nisha undertook a Fellowship in Acute Leukemia and Myelodysplastic Syndromes at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital from 2019 – 2021. This clinical and research position focused on the management of Phase 1-3 clinical trials using experimental and novel therapies. Nisha has a special interest in acute leukemias, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms and bone marrow failure syndromes. She has expertise and broad experience in treating a range of benign and malignant haematological conditions.
Nisha is currently working on publishing in several peer-reviewed journals.
Dr Thiagarajah is focused on delivering excellent patient-centered care and welcomes new referrals for new patients with haematologic disorders including:
